How did Yarns For All come about?
8th Sep 2019
I started crocheting on a regular basis around 2013. I used to make little amigurumi animals for Radio Lollipop at Perth Childrens Hospitals around Western Australia. I used Crochet Cotton that is normally for doillies.
As I progressed I wanted to make bigger items ,but found the yarn that was available around Perth wasnt what I was after. My last job had ended ,so after discussing it with the MOTH (Man of the house) I decided to start an online store selling yarn.
Getting the website going was a challenge as I did it all myself. Getting someone to do it was not an option as it was very expensive. It took months to get it how I wanted it, but finally around August 2016 it was up and running.
I wanted the yarn to be as inexpensive as I could manage, so that everyone would be able to afford it. Fingers crossed I have done that. Its rare to have a "job" that you enjoy, I am very lucky as I am enjoying myself everyday.
This is due in no short part to the wonderful customers I have now.
I hope to keep Yarns For All going for as long as I can!
Best wishes
Leanne
